I recommend this as the number one transcription platform that works for all countries in Africa. I have tested this platform and got paid for my job done.

With QA World, you get paid depending on the length and difficulty of each audio you transcribe. Many transcribers in this platform that I know boast of earning more than $120 per week even when they work for a few hours.

QA World has a good support system through an app called Slack where newbies can get support from admins and other transcribers.

To get started with QA world, you just need to register, confirm your application on your email and write a short audio transcription test, if you pass, you can start work immediately.

2. TRANSCRIBEME

TranscribeMe is a Multilanguage audio transcription company. They accept transcriber for almost all European languages.

This is an excellent platform to start as a beginner transcriber because they give opportunity for career advancement. GoTranscript is another platform that accepts transcribers worldwide. One interesting thing about this platform is that they allow you to transcribe both audio and video file formats.

Like most transcription platforms, it is free to join GoTranscript. After joining, you will be required to pass a short test where you will be required to transcribe a video file.

As for payments, GoTranscript pays about $0.67 per audio or video minute and payments are sent through Paypal or Payoneer every Friday of the week.
